CD-105 - AM.INSULATOR CO. Sold For: $396 Color: Light Aqua
Stellar condition! The wire ridges are especially prone to damage, and this example only has a tiny 1/8" flake. This early pony was produced for the American Insulator Company using Samuel Oakman's collapsible plunger, which was patented on September 13, 1881. Open bubble and 1/4" base flake remove the "13" in the patent date. A few little dings here and there, but nothing significant. Overall, this clean example is worth a premium!

CD-105 - AM.INSULATOR CO. Sold For: $633 Color: Light Aqua
Outstanding condition! No typical chips/flakes on the upper wire ridge. No typical chips/flakes on the damage-prone lower wire ridge. No atypical chips/flaking either! Easy to ignore some wire groove rubs when the insulator is in this excellent condition. Certainly worth a premium over those "typical" ones. You can display it any way you want and it looks outstanding!

CD-105 - AM.INSULATOR CO. Sold For: $264 Color: Light Aqua
This early pony was produced for the American Insulator Company using the collapsible plunger patented by Samuel Oakman. It has the typical flaking on the wire ridges, but the base embossing is all present. The insulator displays well, and would be a great addition for the early threaded glass collector.
