CD-112 - NEW ENG.TEL.& TEL.CO. Sold For: $83 Color: Aqua
This is an interesting embossing. The "NEW ENG.TEL.& TEL.CO." wraps around the skirt of this uncommon keg style. 1/2" fracture up from the base on the front, a number of flakes and dings here and there. A nice find and a desirable piece for the New England collector!

CD-112 - BROOKFIELD Sold For: $176 Color: Emerald Green w/ Amber Swirls
Amber swirls can be seen in the skirt from all sides. They also move up into the dome, giving it a bit of a "two tone" effect. A strand of milk starts in the skirt and winds around the middle wire ridge up into the dome. 1/4" flake on the skirt which occurred during annealing from a potstone in the glass, about 8 chipped drip points, 1/4" flake on the dome, otherwise about very near mint. 1/2" fracture at the left mold line. The character makes this piece more desirable!

CD-112 - BROOKFIELD Sold For: $990 Color: Dark Amber
This is a desirable color for any Brookfield insulator, and it's especially desirable for a keg style! The color is mostly Dark Amber, but perhaps some olive tones are present. Significant drip point chipping, otherwise about very near mint. Crudely made with some surface annealing lines and lots of creases and folds, which add an interesting texture. A rare and standout color!

CD-112 - BROOKFIELD Sold For: $94 Color: Blue Aqua
NO! This is not your common Brookfield! This is the much harder-to-find variant with "No 31" on the rear skirt! 1/4" flake on the upper wire ridge, otherwise about very near mint. Quite an odd embossing; Brookfield and "keg" specialists, take note!

CD-112 - BROOKFIELD // No 31 Sold For: $2,255 Color: "Bubble Dome" Light Blue
Words just can't describe this piece, but we'll try! First, it's the uncommon [070] embossing with "No 31" on the rear skirt. It's filled with twisted swirls of glass which are quite pronounced in the dome. The pinhole is very low and stops between the wire grooves. The top of the pinhole is mostly glass but with a small hole into the bubble chamber as shown in view 4. The top, above the pinhole, has nearly a fully enclosed HUGE BUBBLE! The extent of this bubble is seen in view 2. Yes, that's colored water and it's ALL in the bubble at the top of the pinhole! A couple of chips on either side of the insulator completely blend in with the crude character of this piece. It's hard to place an estimate on this. A very unique piece for sure! Don't let it slip away!

CD-112 - S.B.T.& T.CO. Sold For: $187 Color: Bright Blue
Your classic "keg style" insulator. This exchange insulator was manufactured for the Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company. A little chatter on the base. The bold embossing really stands out!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-112 - BROOKFIELD Sold For: $798 Color: Aqua w/ Shifted Dome
A mold oddity! The dome is shifted to the left about 1/8" leaving an "extended" flat area on the skirt portion and a 1/8" "extended" area under the dome on the left. 1/4" wire ridge flake, otherwise very near mint. A really different and strange piece!

CD-112 - STAR Sold For: $770 Color: Translucent Yellow Olive Green
Fantastic condition! A classic "keg" shape for this STAR insulator. There has been a lot of interest in STAR insulators and "Yellow Olive Green" is an especially nice color for one of these. However, this one goes "over the top" in that it contains a milky impurity, giving the piece an unusual translucent appearance. A gem for sure!

CD-112 - (F-Center) S.B.T. & T. Co. Sold For: $418 Color: Glowing Limey Yellow Green
3/4" open bubble and associated flaking at the rear of the left mold line, otherwise about very near mint. These center embossed "keg" styles are made by the Hemingray Glass Company and are much harder to find than the standard skirt embossed examples. Some of these are a washed out Light Green color, but this one is well saturated and really "pops". The extra dome glass highlights the color even more.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-112 - (Dome) H Sold For: $578 Color: Light Aqua
Factory mint, a tiny open bubble on the crown. A rare embossing variant with just "H" embossed on the dome. The flared skirt and general shape are very similar to the center groove embossed S.B.T. & T. Co. units made by Hemingray. Rarely encountered and in great condition!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-112 - 'H' on dome Sold For: $440 Color: Aqua.
Very similar to the mold style made by Hemingray that contains the center S.B.T. & T. embossing. This scarce little keg only has an embossed 'H' on the dome. These rarely appear for sale and when they do, they often suffer from moderate to severe damage. A nice example in better than average condition. (From the Sandra Drummond collection.)

CD-112 - STAR Sold For: $253 Color: Olivey Yellow Green
Very, very near mint; an open bubble can be seen below the star on the front. These "kegs" come in a variety of green shades and this is a nice one that contrasts well with lot 51!

CD-112 - STAR Sold For: $308 Color: Aqua/Amber Two tone
3/8" thin base flake, 3 dots from a "lehr kiss" on the left rear. Heavy amber swirls in the dome are enhanced by the solid dome glass. Some amber swirling can also be seen from the middle of the insulator to the dome, creating a very distinctive two tone effect. A unique piece!
