CD-112.4 - HEMINGRAY       Sold For: $88       Color: Light Blue Aqua
One of the first "HEMINGRAY"-embossed insulators! Some of these, including this example, have blotted out embossing on the front; however, it has not been determined what was blotted out. The sharp, upper wire ridge is prone to damage and this one has 1/4" and 3/8" flakes, otherwise the insulator is easily very near mint. A nice example of this early style!

CD-112.4 - DIAMOND       Sold For: $110       Color: Bright Light Aqua
This is the much less common [020] embossing, with "B.T.CO. OF CAN." blotted out on both sides. Two 1/4" base flakes and some smaller flakes, 1/4" stress line up from the base, otherwise easily very near mint. An unusual and more desirable embossing for the specialty collector!

CD-112.4 - HEMINGRAY       Sold For: $44       Color: Light Powder Blue
Some base flaking, primarily in the rear. Other minor imperfections are scattered around. This is a great little insulator, and perhaps the first style embossed with Hemingray's name! (#1290)

CD-112.4 - HEMINGRAY No 8 Icy Green       Sold For: $176       Color: Icy Green
The damage-prone upper wire ridge only has minor flaking; a little wire groove rub is testament to years of service. A neat overpour with low threads and extra dome glass adds some character. This is likely the first style to be embossed HEMINGRAY. (#1291)

CD-112.4 - DIAMOND       Sold For: $121       Color: Deep Olive Amber
VNM. The color may be dark, but it still passes light! In addition to the B.T.CO. blot out, the diamonds appear to be blotted out too. Perhaps this is a new embossing listing? Diamond collectors take note! (#1288)
