CD-113.2 - DUQUESNE Sold For: $825 Color: Blue EIN: [020]
 | The wire ridge on this unusual but classic keg style has the typical crude molding. This is the embossing variant where Duquesne is spelled incorrectly as "DUQUSNE". The Duquesne Glass Company was active in the early 1900's in the Pittsburgh, PA area, which is where most of these were found. 1/4" wire ridge flake on the rear, otherwise very near mint. CD 113.2 is elusive and this is a nice example. Why not obtain the unusual variant with the spelling error? |

CD-113.2 - DUQUESNE // GLASS CO. Sold For: $605 Color: Bright Blue
 | Some typical flaking on the upper wire ridge and a 3/4" inch area of flaking on the front skirt. Neat "hair lip" underpour on the rear. Strong embossing. These come in a variety of blue shades and this is a nice Bright Blue example! |

CD-113.2 - DUQUSNE GLASS CO. Sold For: $605 Color: Light Cornflower Blue
 | Crudely made with the typical roughness around the upper wire ridge. A couple of areas of slight underpour give an interesting wavy effect to the base. Note that "DUQUESNE" is spelled "DUQUSNE". These come in a range of blue shades and this attractive color is very different from the more common Blue Aqua. A quite uncommon style and with strong embossing! If you want a CD 113.2 why not get the unusual one with the spelling error? |
