| The rich color shows through, especially in the dome area! Crudely made. Early "55 Fulton St" embossing! Loaded with patent dates! The transparent area halfway up on the left side of the rear is actually a 1" long bubble viewed from the end. 1/4" open bubble on the base, 1/4" and 1/8" flake on the base, otherwise about very near mint. A nice old "A.U." style Brookfield in a standout color! |

CD-126.3 - A.U. Sold For: $297 Color: Rich Green
| A well-saturated, rich Green color! The short-lived American Union Telegraph Company used the CD 126.3 style, which is known as the "American Union" (A.U.) or the "American Union Pattern" style. Even after the company merged with Western Union, the style was still marketed with the name of the former company. This example was produced by Hemingray, and it bears their "DEC 19, 1871" patent date. 1/4" flake/bruise on the wire ridge, 1/4" fisheye and some hairline annealing lines on the dome, flashover on the front, otherwise very near mint. A neat underpour can be seen on the left front, going over to the right rear. The stunning dome glass really shows off the color! |

| {Oakman style threads} The short-lived American Union Telegraph Company utilized the CD 126.3 style, which is known as the "American Union" (A.U.) or the "American Union Pattern" style. Similar in shape to the CD 126, the CD 126.3 has a pointed, bullet shape above the wire groove. 1/8" ding and associated 3/4" fracture on the skirt, some flakes and dings here and there, a little high-point wear. This old "A.U." style insulator has a very distinctive and unusual color! |

| Wow! This is chock-full of small bubbles, some milk, and some amber tones, giving it a translucent effect. Some roughness around the base of the pinhole, 1/4" scuff, otherwise easily very near mint. There are also a couple of 1/4" bubbles that can be seen in the front. |
