CD-144 - {Unembossed} {Foree Bain style} Sold For: $176 Color: Blue Aqua
| This unembossed insulator utilized Foree Bain's patent of December 23, 1890. The patented ridges were designed to reduce conduction on the outer surface when the insulator was wet. These could almost be considered horizontal drip points. 1/4" chip on 2 of the ridges, 3/4" skirt open bubble on the base and some roughness on the lowest wire ridge. There is a factory fold line across most of the insulator; this is not damage. Always an eye-catching style with the concentric rings! |
