CD-147 - PATENT - OTHER Sold For: $440 Color: Aqua w/ "Moon Rock"
| There's a huge boulder in the dome measuring 1 1/4" wide and 3/8" tall! One can even see the texture on it and little sparkles from the glass in the crevices. It's amazing that this didn't cause any annealing damage! 1/4" base bruise and a few dings on the dome. But do you really care when there's an inclusion this large prominently positioned in the dome in the front? The elongated shape really helps to highlight the appearance! One of those pieces that is hard to put an estimate on; have you seen one this big? |

Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon |
CD-147 - {Unembossed Hemingray} Sold For: $231 Color: Aqua
| Several dings on the sharp wire ridges. Although it is not embossed, you can tell this insulator was made by Hemingray from the color and shape. This variant is quite uncommon. A must for the Hemingray or CD 147 collector! Compare with lot 115, which was made by Brookfield, and you can really see the difference! (#4354) |

CD-147 - PAT APP FOR {Brookfield product} Sold For: $1,018 Color: Aqua
| A couple of small inner skirt chips, a couple of flakes on the wire ridges. From the color and shape, you can tell this insulator was made by Brookfield; compare the chunky look of this piece with the Hemingray example in lot 114. A real sleeper! (#4355) |
