An open bubble, a small flake on the skirt, and a little scuffing on the dome. Overall, very good condition for this tough CD which is not often seen for sale! |

This is a nice example of Barclay's patented "Spiral Groove" insulator, and there's a significant difference between it and the more commonly found CD 147 style.  | Basically mint, with a little etching on the left side of the embossing and down to the base. Barclay's patent was for the spiral extension above the wire groove which was meant to facilitate installing the insulator or removing it without removing the tie wire. A great companion for the CD 147 insulators in lot 114 and lot 115! (#4474) |
