The milk swirls in the top and the bottom are close in intensity. The stamped embossing identifies these pieces as having been produced by Hemingray. The bottom is in great condition, the top has 1/4" base flake and a quarter of the inside of the skirt has some flaking. A colorful addition to your transposition collection!

The bottom is leaning towards Yellow Green and has some amber highlights. Both the top and the bottom have some bubbles and snow speckles. A couple of 1/8" dings and a potstone bruise on the top rear, otherwise easily very near mint. The C.S. Knowles Company used this "emerald" trademark on their pieces. A desirable "jewel" for the transposition collector!

The top is about mint and the bottom has a couple of 3/4" flakes at the top of the pinhole, where flakes are often found. Manufactured for the Pennsylvania Railroad by Brookfield. An amber streak in the top adds interest.

The top has several 1/8" dings and a 1/8" flake; the bottom has a 3/4" bruise on the rear. The bottom has a slight sage tint making it a little darker than the top. This color contrasts well with the more often seen Royal Purple examples.

Four of the six flutes are perfect, the other two have about a 1/8" flake on each. A little factory potstone spider. The base embossing is crisp and strong. This insulator is in excellent condition for this very damage-prone style. The flutes make for an unusual design. This is a tough CD to acquire as it is rarely offered for sale!

The top is in excellent condition, and one can see a little bit of an underpour under the prism. The bottom has 2 annealing lines at the top and some typical pinhole flaking, otherwise very near mint. The C.S. Knowles Company supplied electrical construction material in the early 1900's. In 1902, Knowles registered an "emerald" trademark for electrical glass which he called "Emerald Glass." This emblem appears on many of his insulators. (#6973)

The bottom has a stress mark at the top of the threads, one at the left mold line, and a little flaking at the base of the threads. The milk in this piece is a homogeneous jade. The top has a couple of small flakes on the base. You can see the milky swirls more clearly on the top, contrasting well with the bottom. A really nice "two-piece" tramp! (#6935)
