U-1915 - VERBANO {Italy}       Sold For: $242       Color: White

This unusual transposition insulator has a green ink-stamped marking of "VERBANO" and a crown in a green triangle. Verbano Ceramics (Verbano Porcellana di Laveno) began operations in 1931 and produced ceramics, including insulators, and they continued until 1982. The metal clamp on the top adds some extra interest. About very, very near mint. This would make an interesting addition to your foreign porcelain collection!
