U-1929A - British Insulated & Helsby Cables Dry Spot Sold For: $30
 | U-1929A B.I.H.C. The initials stand for British Insulated & Helsby Cables. This insulator is a dry spot. The inner skirt is designed to unscrew to provide a dry place for connecting a telephone wire from a house to the line wire. However, I was unable to unscrew this one as it seems wedged in place. The company changed names in 1925, so this insulator is close to, or just over, 100 years old. |
