U-1965B - 'Gingerbread Knight'       Sold For: $170

U-1965B Unmarked Porcelain Gingerbread Style with a Metal Shell. Based on their shapes and sizes, collectors have nicknamed variations of this style as: gingerbread boy, gingerbread man, gingerbread momma, gingerbread grandpa, etc, etc. So that I guess that would make this one a Gingerbread Soldier … or, maybe, Gingerbread Knight. The NIA website says these were found in Tunisia and were likely made in France. This example has much of the porcelain insulator broken out as shown in
