This rarely-encountered saddle groove insulator was produced by Brookfield. "Mold line over base" (MLOB) insulators have a sharp lip on the inside of the outer skirt which is prone to damage. CD-228 - BROOKFIELD       Sold For: $462       Color: Dark Aqua w/ Fat Amber Snake

A flake and a few pings on the ears, otherwise VNM. One can see a pronounced heavy, amber snake starting at the top of the pinhole and slithering down into the inner skirt. Other areas of the insulator are laced with fine, amber threads. Charles described the piece poetically as having "amber strings and waves." A tough CD! (#7258)
