CD-241 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $121 Color: Red Amber
| A petite saddle groove insulator! The style number 23 indicated that the insulator was designed to be used from 2300 to 6600 volts. For comparison purposes, the large CD 242 and extra-large CD 243 were designated style 66 (6600 to 8800 volts) and style 88 (8800 to 15,000 volts). These are found in a number of shades of amber, and this is one of the more desirable shades. It's very difficult to find one of these with perfect sharp drip points. This example has 6 chipped drip points and 1/4" skirt chip on the rear, otherwise it's very near mint. Collect the whole set of amber shades! |
