CD-257 - PATENT JUNE 17 Sold For: $176 Color: Light Aqua
This is from the earliest production of Mickey Mouse insulators, which are not embossed "HEMINGRAY". 1 chipped drip point, 1/4" flake on the rear flange, two 1/4" chips at the base of the ear. Some amber highlights can be seen in the transparent glass in the dome. A nice early example to add to your Mickey collection!

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $418 Color: Hemingray Blue
This is the less common wide groove Mickey Mouse variant, designed to take cables up to 2" in diameter, compared with the regular groove which holds up to 1 1/2" cables. The No 60-A style was used to denote this wide ear variant. This great embossing variant was originally embossed "(F-Skirt) HEMINGRAY (R-Skirt) PATENT/JUNE 17 1893 MAY 2 1893." Please note the error in the June 17 date which should read "1890." But on top of that, this is a more recently produced insulator which reused that older mold. "MADE IN U.S.A." was engraved over the word "PATENT" on the rear and the "No 60-A" designation was added on the front above the word "HEMINGRAY". This example also has the larger diameter drip points. 1 chipped and 1 slivered drip point, [UPDATE: a 1/8 flake and a BB ding on the rear flange otherwise easily very near mint.] The embossing tells an interesting story and the Hemingray Blue color will make this piece stan

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $72 Color: Dirty Clear
This is a CD 257 Mickey, with a wide saddle groove and the original patina, which was removed from a steel bracket. These massive, heavy-duty brackets were recently recovered from an old steel mill. They were clamped to the rafters and mounted in groups of three. Through the dirt you can see the insulator is Clear. It appears to be in great condition. If you like "as found" items, this will be quite an acquisition for you!

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $374 Color: Dirty Clear w/ Steel Mounting Bracket
This is a CD 257 Mickey, with a wide saddle groove and the original patina, mounted on a steel bracket. These massive, heavy-duty brackets were recently recovered from an old steel mill. They were clamped to the rafters and mounted in groups of three. Through the dirt you can see the insulator is Clear. It appears to be in great condition. If you like "as found" items, this will be quite an acquisition for you!

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $462 Color: Rich Blue Aqua
This Mickey Mouse has a rich, well-saturated color! Extra character includes thin amber swirls in the ears and some steamy bubble trails up from the skirt on the right rear. Wonderful condition with just a scuff on the ear and one slivered drip point. The rich, deep color will display well in your collection!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $462 Color: Aqua w/ Amber Swirls
Note this is the [060] embossing where the "0" in 1890 is engraved on top of a "3". You can see some amber in the skirt, a little more in the left ear, and a moderate amount in the right ear. The only significant damage to report is just 1 chipped drip point. If you want a swirly-eared Mickey with an embossing error, this is the one for you!

SI-257 - 1983 NATIONAL INSULATOR ASSOCIATION Sold For: $605 Color: White w/ Orange and Yellow Swirls Solid Pour
This full-sized solid pour Mickey is the ultimate commemorative! The McDougalds produced sets of 5 solid colors of these in 1983, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the NIA. The colors were Amber, Blue, Green, Red, and White. This example has eye-catching Orange and Yellow swirls throughout, especially in the ears. A very limited number of these swirled pieces were produced. Oh, by the way, did we mention this was also a solid pour? You can see this in view 3. From speaking with the McDougalds, they recall that only four were produced, of which they possess two, so this is only one of two available to the hobby. This is perhaps the ultimate acquisition if you are a commemorative collector and it's in fantastic condition! It's hard to give this an estimate!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - PATENT JUNE 17 1890 Sold For: $1,815 Color: Light Aqua
What a crude mouse! Heavy creases on the glass with round and elongated bubbles in the glass which can be clearly seen in the ears! The mark on the left ear is a factory anomaly. 1/2" open bubble on the bottom left ear on the rear, 1/4" flake on the flange, otherwise easily very near mint. These double-dated mice were the earliest examples; later, "HEMINGRAY" was embossed on one side. An early Mickey, a great addition for the mouse or junk-in-glass collector!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $253 Color: Aqua w/ Amber Swirls
The ever-popular Hemingray Mickey Mouse! A little amber can be seen in the skirt, but a high concentration of amber can be seen in the right ear, and some swirls also appear in the left ear. 1/2" base flake on the left rear, otherwise about very near mint. One could make a specialty collection from amber-swirled Mickeys with the various colorations that can be found in the ears and the skirt; add this to yours!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $187 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls
Nice solid Green color moving up from the skirt into the pinhole. Some amber swirls sprout out into the ears. They are especially interesting in the right ear where they intersect each other. Quite an unusual pattern of swirling! Mickeys and brackets were recently recovered from the rafters of a steel mill. This example was mounted, along with others, on steel brackets in groups of three. See lot 184 for one of the brackets. Unfortunately this insulator has a fracture around the entire area above the flange, very likely from taking the stress of sitting on the metal pin for decades. Ironically, the rest of the insulator is in great shape. Eye-catching swirls!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $242 Color: Clear w/ Steel Mounting Bracket
Here is a CD 257 Mickey, with the original patina, mounted on a steel bracket. The bracket is 3" wide and is significantly larger and heavier than the bracket in lot 184. These massive, heavy-duty brackets were recently recovered from an old steel mill. They were clamped to the rafters and mounted in groups of three. There is so much dirt and grime on the insulator that you can barely tell what it is, but up in the ears you can tell it's clear. It appears to be in great condition. If you like "as found" items, this will be quite an acquisition for you! If you are also a pin and bracket collector, don't forget about the smaller-size bracket in lot 184.

CD-257 - PATENT / JUNE 17 Sold For: $462 Color: Ice Green w/ Amber Traces
2" bruise in the rear, although none of the drip points are affected. There are 2 slivered drip points, but all the rest are in great shape. 1/4" flake on the bottom of the left ear, factory annealing lines at both mold lines. You can see some traces of amber around the flange. This slightly different color will fit in well with your other light and icy Mickeys!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $396 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls
What differentiates the amber-swirled Mickeys is the type of amber swirling in the ears. This example has more amber waves, rather than distinct amber swirls. The amber in the skirt gives this Mickey a Green coloration, making it stand out more. Some skirt roughness, 1/4" x 1/2" skirt flake at the left mold line, otherwise easily very near mint. One could make a specialty collection out of amber-swirled Mickeys with the various colorations that can be found in the ears and the skirt. Or, if you want just one, this is a nice example!

CD-257 - Green w Amber Swirls Sold For: $260 Item: #33

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $231 Color: Aqua w/ Amber Swirls
Areas of amber blending in the skirt and flange add an attractive green coloration. Nice looping swirls in the ears follow the curved shape. 3/4" shallow chip and 1/4" bruise on the right ear, otherwise about very near mint. [Update: the 3/4" shallow chip is at most a 1/8" deep and associated with the 1/4" bruise is a 1/2" thin flake running down the side of the ear.] The "Mickey Mouse" insulator is quite a popular style, and the swirl pattern in the ears makes this example more unique and desirable!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $1,430 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk Swirls
Although there is some typical milk swirling in the skirt of this insulator, the ears are devoid of milk, allowing you to see the true, rich Electric Blue color! 1 1/2" repaired flange chip, about 10 chipped drip points, otherwise very near mint. [UPDATE: view 3 shows the extent of the resin repair.] For a rare CD 151 H.G.CO. with the same coloration, see lot 3. A nice contrast to your Electric Blue mouse with heavy swirling in the ears!

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $374 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls EIN: [040]
This "Mickey Mouse" insulator is an attractive rich Green in the body of the insulator. There is heavy amber swirling in the ears. A nice patch of Aqua glass can be seen in the right ear. A small potstone bruise in the saddle, a few chipped drip points, otherwise about very near mint. These continue to gain in popularity, so be sure to snag this "mouse" before it's too late!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $352 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls EIN: [040]
The body is mainly green with some amber swirls, but the swirling is more pronounced in the ears. Kind of a two-tone effect in the left ear where the top is blue and the bottom is swirled amber and green. The right ear is mostly swirled amber and green. 1/4" ear flake, otherwise about very near mint. This style has become more popular in recent years and you should add it to your collection now!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $1,705 Color: Electric Blue w/o Milk
No milk! It is quite typical that these have milk in them, but this is an uncommon variant without milk. Without the milk, one can see the rich intense color and the "snow" more clearly. These become quite popular over the last decade selling from around $2,500 to one we recently sold for over $7,000! As more are sold, collectors may be realizing that means there are less around for them to buy! 1" bruise on the front, 1/2" chip towards the right front, 1" and 1/2" chip on the rear that affects "1893" embossing. There is some damage on this piece but it displays fairly well, and here is a chance to pick up one for less than a very near mint one!

Wow, look at those ears! The body of this Mickey is mostly a solid green color, and there is great amber swirling in the ears! There are also some BB-sized bubbles floating in the ears. Very good condition with three 1/4" skirt flakes and only one slivered drip point. For another color variant, see lot 155. These swirled Mickeys have always been quite desirable. Great color!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $165 Color: Aqua w/ Amber Swirls
Always popular! This example has an aqua base color with some amber swirls throughout the insulator. For another color variant see lot 154. About a half-dozen chipped drip points, otherwise very near mint. The nice transparent glass in the ears shows the swirls well!

Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon |
CD-257 - PATENT JUNE 17 Sold For: $231 Color: Light Jade Green
Here is a rarely encountered color which is unlisted in the 2019 Price Guide. This embossing is less common than its Hemingray-embossed CD 257 counterpart. Well blended milk gives it the translucent color. On the rough side, with a 2" flange chip and significant base chipping. Displays best from the "MAY 2 1893" side. Still a nice example of this unusual color!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $1,815 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk Swirls
Simply stunning! We have seen many Electric Blue CD 257 "Mickey Mouse" insulators over the years and this is about the best overall color of the group. Wonderful veils of "milk" wind all the way up from the skirt and into the ears. Beautiful snowflakes punctuate the ears and there's a large chunk in the right ear! It looks much better in person as the color and detail are difficult to capture. A few chipped drip points, a 2" chip in the rear, and a 1" bruise in the front almost disappear as you focus on the color and character. We have given perhaps a conservative estimate based on what these have been selling for. An excellent example of an Electric Blue "Mickey" and a great addition to your collection!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $176 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls
CD 257 "Mickey Mouse" insulators with green and amber are extremely popular! This one has attractive swirling in the skirt and body of the insulator and strong swirls in the ears. 1 1/2" bruise on the right rear, 1" slice on the rear of the right ear. The spot on the front flange seen in the photo is a molding imperfection. The insulator offers quite a dramatic display, as the front is in great condition!

CD-257 - PATENT - OTHER Sold For: $209 Color: Ice Aqua
Light colored "mice" are becoming more desirable as they contrast well with the more common aquas and greens. Perfect drip points! The only significant imperfection is a factory flaw that leaves a little open bubble on the ear. A great example of this early "mouse"!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $374 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls
Great color separation and swirls! Pinky flake/roughness at the left mold line, otherwise easily very near mint. These swirled units typically have a green skirt; in this example, one can even see amber swirls in this area. There are very nicely delineated strong swirls in both ears. Amber-swirled mice have become quite popular and one can see why. Don't let it scurry away!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $7,150 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk
Color, Color, Color. Condition, Condition, Condition. This "Mickey" excels in both of these! A small area with a factory imperfection and just a sliver on one drip point. Condition: check, check, check. Amazing color combinations! Be sure to look at all five views. The insulator has a rich Electric Blue coloration in the skirt and flange, while, in the front, a large area of crazed milk flows over the top of the pinhole. In the rear, a wide ribbon of milk meanders around and up to the top of the pinhole. The right ear displays some nice milk and "snow". The left ear sports a "snowball of snow" in the front and an enormous crystalized ball in the rear! See view 5. Note the lines you see are not any stress lines etc. in the glass. Just crazing lines in the "snowball." Color: check, check, check. When you consider color and condition, this is one of the best, so don't pass it by!

CD-257 - PATENT / JUNE 17 Sold For: $352 Color: Ice Aqua
Patent dates on the front and rear for the "dove-tail ears" and drip points. 1" ear flake in the rear, a few chipped drip points, a flake at the base of the threads. The icy nearly-clear shades of Mickeys contrast well with the darker shades that are often seen. Add this one to your lineup!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - PATENT / JUNE 17 Sold For: $2,200 Color: Light Jade Aqua
It's hard to find a well-blended Jade mouse such as this one. 1" scallop bruise in the front, several chipped drip points and a repair in the rear affecting 3 drip points. This is also the less common variant (PATENT - OTHER) without the HEMINGRAY embossing. For a Jade Blue mouse, see lot 4. What a nice addition to your array of Mickeys!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $5,775 Color: Jade Electric Blue
A truly stunning insulator! While one is used to seeing various milk swirls in the body and the ears, this is a true translucent jade color! 3 chipped drip points, otherwise easily very near mint. But do you really care about the condition when you have such a stunning color as this? True Jade! For its Jade Aqua counterpart, see lot 3. UPDATE: View 4 has been added taking a photo front-lit at an angle with a Light Electric Blue piece on the left and a Dark Electric Blue on the right. This gives some of the relative color and density of the piece. View 2 and view 3 are backlit in a typical 5000K light box. Although prices on "regular" Electric Blue mice have sold for up to $5,500 in very near mint condition, we'll put a lower estimate and see where it goes. A rare gem for your collection!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY // No 60 Sold For: $143 Color: Aqua w/ Amber Swirls

CD-257 - PATENT / JUNE 17 Sold For: $462 Color: Light Aqua
{Wide saddle groove} {Hemingray product} Tiny flake on one drip, 1/2" flake under the left ear, paper thin flake on the side of the left ear, otherwise easily very near mint. The wide groove style was made to accommodate a 2" diameter cable, rather than the 1 1/2" diameter cable which fit into the standard style. This wide groove variant is particularly hard to find. Mouse and Hemingray collectors take note!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $3,410 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk
This is the classic Electric Blue Mickey, with milk swirling in the skirt and around the pinhole. Easily very near mint, and with perfect drip points! These typically have some drip point damage and/or chips in the skirt, and this is an exception. Although a number of these have sold in the past few years, collectors are beginning to realize the desirability of this insulator. This is one of the best you'll find!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY // No 60 Sold For: $396 Color: Aqua w/ Heavy Amber Swirling
Perfect drip points and oh so close to mint. You see a variety of "swirled ear" Mickeys with a green base color, but this example is all about the swirls in the ears. This one has well-pronounced heavy swirls in the body and well-defined trails of amber in the ears. A spectacular display and worth a premium alone just because of the condition!

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $209 Color: Bright Light Aqua
Outstanding condition with perfect large drip points. Even your basic aqua styles can be hard to find in perfect condition. This has a strong coloration that isn't washed out. Worth a premium based on its condition alone!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $176 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls
One chipped drip and a slice at the bottom of the left ear. These swirled "Mickeys" are very popular and this one is a great example, with colorful and pronounced swirling all around, including the ears. Another classic Mickey Mouse brought to you by the folks at Hemingray!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $1,155 Color: Light Electric Blue
1" bruise at the left mold line that removes 3 drip points, 6 slivered drip points, otherwise easily very near mint. There's been a huge surge in popularity in Electric Blue "Mickey Mouse" insulators. This example is Light Electric Blue and retains the same vivid color tones as the Electric Blue pieces. As is typical with most of these pieces, there are some milk impurities, and this example has an attractive swath that sweeps over the top of the pinhole and down and around in the rear flange area. This can be seen in the front photo as the darker area at the top of the pinhole. Many feel that this lighter coloration is harder to come by, and this rich, vibrant color will surely complement your "standard" Electric Blue mouse!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - PATENT JUNE 17 Sold For: $297 Color: Icy Aqua w/ Ear Bubbles
Excellent condition with perfect, oversized drip points and no wear in the saddle. Several large, elongated bubbles can be seen in the right ear, and some smaller ones in the left ear. There is even a little amber swirl over the top of the pinhole. An early "mouse" style made by Hemingray but not embossed with their name. The clarity of the glass especially highlights the nice bubbles in the ears! Between the condition and the character, this insulator is certainly worth a premium!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $253 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirling
{Wide saddle groove} [080] Very near mint. It's interesting to note that the JUNE 17 1890 date is actually embossed as JUNE 17 1893, the latter being the year of the drip point patent, which also appears on this insulator. There are nice amber swirls, which are most pronounced in the ears. Swirled-ear mickeys are always popular, and this is a very nice example.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY-60 Sold For: $77 Color: Rich Hemingray Blue
{Wide saddle groove} 1/4" flake on the corner of the ear, otherwise at least very near mint. The wide saddle groove was designed to hold a large cable, up to two inches in diameter. A strong, well-saturated color with great clarity in the ears!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $3,630 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk
A 3/4" hard to see bruise at the mold line causes stress lines in a couple of drips, and a third has a stress line through it. For completeness we'll mention a 1/4" thin flake and a little scuff on the ear. All drip points but one retain their full conical shape. This insulator has managed to avoid the skirt chips and significant drip damage that are often found; this Mickey is in really great condition. Attractive "milk" impurities wind around the skirt and pinhole. There has been increased collector demand for these, and this Mouse is a fine example. Bring it home with you!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY // No 60 Sold For: $462 Color: Emerald Green w/ Amber Swirling
Very near mint, with a wire rub on the side of the ear. There is strong amber swirling in the ears, enhancing the overall emerald coloration. There has been strong interest in green "Mickeys" and this is a beautiful example!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $4,180 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk
5 missing drips and a chipped drip, a hard-to-see 1/2" bruise in the rear, otherwise very good condition. This example has a nice milky streak running straight up from the skirt to the top of the pinhole. Additional milk swirls can be seen around the skirt and over the pinhole. A patch of milk leaks into the left ear. There is a little snow and some faint amber wisps in both of the ears. All in all, it doesn't look as bad as it may sound. It's still your classic electric blue Mickey! (#7631)

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $286 Color: Forest Green w/ Amber Swirled Ears
3 chipped drips, 1/2" long rust scrape, and a little wear from use on the ears. Overall, very near mint. As you can see from the photo, there is very heavy and pronounced swirling in the ears, and a neat, elongated bubble in the right ear! These "swirled ear" Mickeys have become quite popular and desirable in recent years, and the distinctive two tone effect in this example really stands out; it's one of the best you'll find! (#0154)

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $5,500 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk
1" scallop bruise and a chipped drip in the rear, otherwise fantastic condition! There is some of the typical milk flowing over the pinhole, creating a neat crazing effect that can be seen especially well in the rear. The lack of milk in the ears tends to make them "glow" more than your usual example! (#7628)

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $4,180 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk & Snowflakes
Perfect drips, outstanding condition, just a small 1/8" x 1/16" flakelet on the flange which can only be seen if you tip the insulator up and look down at it as seen in view 3. There is the milkiness typical of Electric Blue mice. What makes this mouse more unique are small white flecks, giving the appearance of snow, most prominent in the ears and some in the skirt. If you want an outstanding "Mickey", this is it! (#7597)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $1,375 Color: Electric Blue w/ Light Milk
A few chipped drips, a 2" section of base chipping and a slice off the back of the ear. Displays very well from the front. The ears have very little milk, giving them a richer, brighter Electric Blue glow! (#7613)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY // No 60 Sold For: $231 Color: Swirly Emerald Green
A couple of little dings on the ear, just about perfect! The intensity of swirling in Emerald/Aqua Mickeys can vary quite a bit; this is an outstanding example! There is swirling in the skirt and even more pronounced swirling in the ears! (#0449)

Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon |
CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $2,695 Color: Deep Electric Blue w/ Milk and Amber Swirling
There is a small bruise near the mold line that affects one drip as can be seen in view 3 and a little flaking on three drips. This Mickey has some of the milk swirling typical of these mice; however, its strong point is the abundance of amber swirling throughout the piece, with an especially long wave around the entire back skirt. The amber swirling is unusual, and this amount of swirling is extremely unusual, making it a very unique example! (#7593)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $2,255 Color: Deep Electric Blue w/ Milk
Skirt flake affects two drip points and there's a small flake on the shoulder. Very nice condition! A good amount of milk around the pinhole produces a translucent effect, and there are some nice milk stringers that loop around in the front! (#7603)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $418 Color: Milky Aqua
Drip point damage, several large skirt flakes, a chip on the rear of the left ear. The great milky swirls throughout this insulator are especially prominent in the ears when backlit! These Milky Aqua mice are probably less common than their Electric Blue counterparts! (#7621)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $1,073 Color: Deep Electric Blue w/ Milk
2" base bruise removes four drips and there's a small flange flake in the rear. Your classic Electric Blue Mickey with some milk swirls and some interesting milk crazing in the rear! (#7630)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY // No 60 Sold For: $286 Color: Emerald Green
Three small dings, a paper-thin flake on the rear skirt, otherwise VNM. The Emerald Green in the body is exceptionally strong, and the Aqua highlights in the ears make the insulator even more stunning! (#0431)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY // No 60 Sold For: $66 Color: Aqua w/ Amber Swirling
A base flake affects two drips, another base flake affects one drip, flake under the ear at the mold line. This popular insulator has pronounced amber swirling in the ears and some in the skirt. It's especially unusual, as it has a lead liner, perhaps designed to thread onto a bolt rather than the standard 1" pin. See lot 184 for another "Green" Mickey Mouse with even more green! (#7586)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Peacock Blue Sold For: $3,300 Color: "Peacock" Blue
Several chipped drip points, a small base bruise, and an ear chip don't detract at all from this stunning, glowing piece. If you believed that a "Peacock" Mickey existed, this would have to be it! However, to be "politically correct" the color is more like Dark Electric Blue, leaning towards Peacock Blue. The absence of milk in the ears and skirt intensifies the color. An outstanding brilliant "Peacock"! (#7596)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Light Electric Blue w/ Heavy Milk Swirls Sold For: $2,090 Color: Light Electric Blue w/ Heavy Milk Swirls
Five chipped drip points and a shoulder chip on the rear. A glittery band of milk runs from the top of the pinhole down to and around the shoulder and back up to the top of the pinhole. Some carbon swirls in the dome and ears add dimension to this awesome insulator! These Light Electric Blue Mickeys are far less common than their Electric Blue counterparts and they are probably underrated. There should be a lot of interest in this piece! (#7622)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Forest Green w/ Aqua Swirls Sold For: $743 Color: Forest Green w/ Aqua "Swirls"
Essentially mint. A nice, pleasing Forest Green with highlights of Aqua and Amber swirls in the ears. This colorful Mickey is always popular with collectors! (#7617)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Electric Blue w/ Snowflakes Sold For: $2,970 Color: Electric Blue w/ Snowflakes
Couple of chipped drip points, a base bruise, a small potstone bruise from a glob of "snow" in the ear. Most of the Electric Blue Mickeys have strands or veils of milk; this one seems to have distributed fibers or "snowflakes" giving a somewhat translucent appearance. The snow is particularly prominent in the left ear. This makes it somewhat more unique than your typical run of the mill "milky" Mickey! (#7602)

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $187 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls
VVNM. Mice with great amber swirling in the ears are always popular. Why don't you add one to your collection? (#7618)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $743 Color: Milky Aqua
Shoulder chip, ear chip, skirt slice. None of them detract from the awesome display of this insulator! Excellent swirling, especially in the ears, where you can see it the most! An infrequently encountered and probably underrated piece! (#7623)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $2,585 Color: Electric Blue w/ a Glittery Milk Streak
A flat base flake on the rear removes three drip points, and the rest is VVNM. There is a glittery milk streak that starts at the base of the pinhole and runs around the skirt, up into the right ear, across the pinhole and all the way through to the left side of the left ear! This streak is a much more unique feature than the typical "plain-looking" milk swirls found in these insulators. This "Mickey" is a real character! (#7611)

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY Sold For: $1,760 Color: Electric Blue w/ Milk
3 missing drips towards the left mold line. The rest of the drips are perfect! The Electric Blue Mickey was Charles' signature piece. Milky swirls can be seen around the pinhole and in the right ear. In some areas the milk is more blended with the glass creating more of a lighter translucent effect. What makes this unique is a large section where soot was folded into the glass across the left ear! (#7608)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

CD-257 - HEMINGRAY No 60 Sold For: $303 Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls
