CD-299.7 - LOWEX // D-514 Sold For: $352 Color: Fizzy Light Lemon/Lime Green
 | None of the electric flashover that is often seen on these insulators. 3" bruise (no glass missing) at the right mold line. A small number of CD 299.7's found their way into the hobby over the past ten years, and they have become more affordable. A scarce but key insulator for the Hemingray, power, or CD collector! |

CD-299.7 - LOWEX D-514 Sold For: $1,705 Color: Fizzy Light Lemon Green
 | Flashover. Several of these found in the same location have flashovers, perhaps an indication of an overloaded circuit or lightning strike. A relatively new CD assignment and the only "triple petticoat" LOWEX insulator. A pleasing color for these "LOW EXpansion" insulators that Hemingray produced in 1939. (#7982) |
