Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon

CD-301 - {Unembossed}       Sold For: $352       Color: Blue
At over 6 pounds, this is heavier than it appears. Base chipping on 1/4 of the skirt in the rear, 3/4" open bubble with only minor flaking. The insulator uses William Walther's patented "ribs" for extra strength between the skirt and the petticoat. A big hunk of glass and a beautiful blue color! [UPDATE: View 3 is a view of the base]

Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon

CD-301 - {Unembossed}       Sold For: $2,475       Color: Dark Aqua
{Solid pour} This appears to be a CD 301 measuring 6 3/4" x 3 3/4". Excellent condition, with just some very minor scuffing, perhaps from being used as a door stop. It is amazing that such a large piece of glass was annealed thoroughly without suffering internal fractures. This was most likely kept at the factory as a paperweight. What an incredible, massive solid pour weighing in at 6 lbs. 5 oz. It is by far the largest solid pour we have ever seen, and this could possibly be one of a kind. With a solid pour CD 154 Whitall Tatum selling for over $500, who knows what this rarity will bring?

Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon

CD-301 - {Unembossed}       Sold For: $484       Color: Blue/Green Two Tone
The base has been lightly polished flat; there is an underpour and a few little flakes, otherwise great condition for this big power piece. The insulator uses William Walther's patented "ribs" for extra strength between the skirt and the petticoat. There is a nice two tone effect where the blue and green almost seem to form distinct layers of color! (#7991)
