CD-31 - E.S.B. CO.       Sold For: $121       Color: Light Aqua
Excellent condition, a small 1/2" bruise on the innermost skirt. Produced by the Electric Storage Battery Company of Philadelphia, PA. Their trade name, "Chloride Accumulator," is embossed on the insulator. This medium-sized battery rest measures 4" in diameter, putting it right in the middle of your E.S.B. lineup!

Great condition, with only a little minor scuffing on the top from use. The Electric Storage Battery Company, founded in 1888 by W.W. Gibbs, developed a storage battery called the Chloride Accumulator which was used for over 35 years by electric light and power companies. By 1908 glass battery rests were being used to support and insulate the racks of batteries. This insulator is 4" in diameter and embossed with the company name as well as the name of the storage battery. (#9002)
