 | This "bat ears" style comes in 4 sizes, from 5" to 9" in diameter. This is the second smallest style at 6 1/4". There are four ribs under the skirt, most likely for additional support. There is often some damage under the umbrella, but this one is perfect. A hard to see 1/2" stress line on the crown, otherwise easily very, very near mint. The "prism" trademark, which is the emblem for "Emerald Glass", indicates this example was produced for the C.S. Knowles Company, which supplied electrical construction material in the early 1900's. An interesting shape for a power piece! |

 | Just a 3/8" umbrella flake on the right side away from mint! The C.S. Knowles Catalogue of 1902 listed this design which collectors have given the nickname "Bat Ears." One can see some aqua coloration in one of the ears. A beautiful color for a power piece! |
