Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon

CD-500 - S.A.F.N.V. {Uruguay}       Sold For: $28       Color: Rich Green
A couple of small dings, overall about very near mint. This small (2" x 2 1/4") insulator was manufactured in Uruguay by the "Sociedad Anonima Fabrica Nacional de Vidrio" or the "National Glass Factory." The name of the company is interesting; it is the equivalent of a "public limited company". In the "old days" the stockholders were actually anonymous. Nice color!

Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon

CD-500 - S.A.F.N.V.       Sold For: $88       Color: Glowing Dark 7-up Green
Factory mint. This small (2" x 2 1/4") insulator was manufactured in Uruguay by the "Sociedad Anonima Fabrica Nacional de Vidrio" or the "National Glass Factory." The name of the company is interesting, and is the equivalent of a "public limited company". In the "old days" the stockholders were actually anonymous. This insulator was made in various shades of green, and this appears to be one of the brightest! (#0496)
