CD-529.5 - MIVA // T8 {Italy} Sold For: $88 Color: Deep Forest Green
 | Great condition, just a few little pings. A thick and heavy hunk of glass, but just 3 3/4" tall! MIVA stands for Manifattura Isolatori Vetro Acqui and the company opened in Acqui Terme in northwestern Italy in 1906. This insulator was produced circa 1910 and was used on the famous Roma-Fiuggi Railroad. This beautiful, deep green is the only color known for this insulator. They have quickly disappeared since the dismantling of the railroad! (#0392) |
