CD-569.2 - HEMAH {Russia} Sold For: $72 Color: Rich Swirled Cobalt Blue
Lots of blue swirls can be easily seen in the skirt and are somewhat hard to photograph. A deep wire rub from use, otherwise about very near mint. Produced by the company Hemah (pronounced "Neman"), which was organized in 1883 on the bank of the river Hemah. The bright cobalt coloration, coupled with the swirls, makes this a winner!

CD-569.2 - HEMAH {Russia} Sold For: $61 Color: Dark Cobalt
Tough "micro-embossed" variant. This style of 569.2's is seldom seen with this 1/16" micro-embossing and these insulators are considered quite rare. The embossing on this piece is fairly weak but you can read "HEMAH" when you turn it the right way. The company Hemah (pronounced "Neman") was organized in 1883 on the bank of the river Hemah. A pretty color in very near mint condition!

CD-569.2 - HEMAH {Russia} Sold For: $121 Color: Inky Cobalt Blue
Virtually mint. The big deal here is that the regular embossing is backwards, which occurs when you engrave the mold like you would normally write it. After pressing, the embossing ends up backwards on the insulator. This includes the large "HEMAH" as well as the 1967 date and the style number on the crown. However, the very small embossing "HEMAH" on the rear skirt is correct. It is possible an old mold with the small embossing was reused and engraved with the larger embossing, including the date and style number. A great embossing error for your collection!
