 | What is unusual about this insulator is its size of nearly 6" tall and the solid T-bar, designed to hold a fuse, which is over 1" in diameter and 6 1/2" long. The bar is positioned on the top of the insulator rather than lower on the crown like the other T-bar styles. The initials "EIV" are for "Europeenne d'Isolateurs en Verre" or "European Glass Insulators." This T-bar will stand head and shoulders above the other "T-bars." Great condition for this unusual foreign insulator! |
