| Crudely molded. Thin, pinky skirt flake, 1" wire ridge chip, pinky dome chip. Lightly cleaned. An exciting new find! This was one of two that were found in a privy dig in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio in 2012. They are the only examples known. Previous examples of CD 729.4 were embossed "MULFORD & BIDDLE" and made with a two-piece mold. This one has no embossing and was made with a three-piece mold, with a quarter-sized recess on the dome. A nice color, and an exciting insulator for the threadless collector to acquire! (#0470) |
