CD-732 - {Unembossed} Sold For: $462 Color: Light Jade Green
| The glass has a nice translucent look to it and some additional impurities in it. Crudely molded with two 1/2" skirt flakes, 1/2" bruise, some flaking around the base. The translucent color passes light easily and allows you to clearly see the jadey appearance, adding a lot more interest than your typical aqua or green examples. See lot 156 for a Dark Olive Amber example. | According to historical information the family of threadless insulators that includes the CD 732 incorporated the best features of the "egg" style and the "hat" style, and was sometimes called the "compromise" style. 1/4" skirt flake and some pings and dings all around. A dark color, but you can still see the coloration in the skirt. See its Jadey Milk counterpart in lot 157. A beautiful example of this "compromise" insulator! |
