Bill & Jill Insulators - Next Auction: Coming Soon

CD-734 - MCMICKING       Sold For: $143       Color: Light Blue Aqua
This insulator sports soot-filled bubbles on the front, left side, and dome. The bases on these are often pretty rough, and this is far better than many with just a couple of areas of flakes. Robert McMicking came from eastern Canada in the 1860's and worked on the "Collins" line in British Columbia. Most known McMicking insulators were found there, many of them never having been used. A popular and petite threadless style that collectors like, and with the added character, a nice find for sure!

CD-734 - MCMICKING       Sold For: $220       Color: Light Aqua
Classic little "hat" style of threadless insulator. 3/4" bruise and 1/4" flake on the base. The base of the skirt and the base often have significant flaking, and this isn't bad in that regard. The rest of the insulator is in wonderful condition. Robert McMicking came from eastern Canada in the 1860's and worked on the "Collins" line in British Columbia. Most known McMicking insulators were found there, many of them never having been used. A very nice example of this style!

3/4" chip and 3/4" skirt flake remove most of the embossing on the front. Displays great from the rear, where it is boldly embossed "VICTORIA.B.C. 75". This can be an inexpensive start to your threadless collection.
