| A threadless insulator marked for the Montreal Telegraph Company. A typical light blue aqua colour, but with unusually nice thick milky/snotty swirls throughout the front skirt. All of the embossing remains intact. It has a 1/2 narrow upper wire ridge flake and one large flat base flake on the same side, as well as a moderate surface haze from burial and some scattered scuffs and flea bite. |

Flaking on about half the base removes "M.T" on this neat character piece. A big brute, measuring a full 1/2" taller than typical examples! |

| A nice Montreal Telegraph Company threadless, signified by the M.T. Co embossing on the base rim. This example is a step above the ordinary, containing milk swirling, primarily in the skirt area. Base lighting will display the milk to its best potential (View 1). Embossing is bold and clear, with very close examination there is just a peck of glass missing at the very top left of the 'M' (View 4). |
