| Factory mint! Annealing line in the wire groove as can be seen in the photo. Underpour on the left side of the skirt. Strong swirls throughout the dome add extra character. In 1972 William McLaughlin built a small glass factory in his garage, where he made commemorative insulators to celebrate the 75th anniversary of his start in the glass business. All of them are unique, and were made in a variety of swirled and slag glass colors. Only a small quantity of the red milk glass commemoratives were made, for family and friends, making these the most desirable and rare specimens. Without a doubt, a standout piece in any commemorative collection! (#9158) |
